Three Ways to Experience Life at Chom Suan

From a full-time garden residence to a cultural activity programme, each offering is designed around how people actually want to spend their days.

How We Work

Our Approach to Senior Living in Thailand

Every programme at Chom Suan begins from the same starting point: what does this particular person need, and how can we shape their days around that?

Starting with a Conversation

Every placement begins with a thorough conversation between our team and the family — about preferences, health context, social needs, and what home has meant before.

Adapting as Things Change

Needs shift. A resident who wanted quiet company in the first month may be ready for more social activities by the third. We stay attentive and adjust accordingly.

Keeping Families Involved

Regular communication ensures that family members who live elsewhere remain part of the picture — informed, consulted, and reassured as the weeks unfold.

Solution 01

Garden Villa Residence

A full-time residential option in a tropical garden setting on Phuket's quieter southern coast. Each villa unit offers a private bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and a small furnished terrace overlooking shared gardens. Daily meals are included, prepared with fresh local ingredients and adapted to individual preferences.

Common areas include a library, covered sala for socialising, and walking paths through the property. On-site staff provide housekeeping, laundry, and everyday assistance.

1

Enquire and speak with our family liaison about the residence and your needs.

2

Visit the property and walk through the gardens and available villa units.

3

Agree on a move-in date and — if desired — add the Transition Program.

4

Settle in at your own pace, supported by the on-site team every step of the way.

Solution 02

Transition Adjustment Program

A four-week supported introduction programme for new residents or their families who want a gradual, comfortable onboarding experience. Includes room setup assistance, orientation to daily routines and community rhythms, introductions to other residents, and regular check-ins with a dedicated care coordinator.

Families receive weekly updates during the transition period. The programme is designed to ease the emotional and practical adjustments that come with a new living arrangement, ensuring both the resident and their family feel settled and informed.

1

Week 1: Room setup, property orientation, and initial community introductions.

2

Week 2: Settling into daily rhythms — meals, shared spaces, and staff interactions.

3

Week 3: First family update call and review of any adjustments needed.

4

Week 4: Finalise preferences, confirm ongoing support arrangements, and close-out review.

Cultural Engagement & Social Calendar

A year-round activity programme centred on Thai cultural traditions, creative pursuits, and gentle physical activities. Monthly themes align with Thai festivals, seasonal produce, and local cultural events.

Activities include temple visits, cooking demonstrations, traditional craft workshops, Thai music appreciation sessions, and guided garden tours. Transportation for off-site activities is included. An activities team designs each month's calendar in consultation with residents.

Across All Solutions

Standards That Apply to Every Offering

Privacy and Discretion

Resident information is handled with care. Family communications follow agreed protocols, and nothing is shared without resident consent.

Consistent Daily Standards

Meal quality, cleanliness, and staff presence are maintained at a consistent level throughout the year, not just during quieter periods.

Responsive Communication

Families and residents have clear, direct contact channels. Messages are responded to within one working day as standard.

Respect for Pace and Preference

No programme at Chom Suan is obligatory. Residents choose how involved they want to be and their preferences are respected without comment or pressure.

International Accessibility

All key communications are available in English. Our family liaison is experienced in supporting families living in Europe, Australia, and across Asia.

Genuine Warmth

This is harder to quantify but easy to notice. Staff at Chom Suan are here because they find this work meaningful — and that shows in daily interactions.

Not Sure Which Option Suits You?
